2 teknicks 1210's 1 mixer first got into house music back in 88-89 when me older bro used to play tapes from sequins and strobe at the village. Heard it and thought "this music is for me". Over the years I used to tape stu allen and gaz hickson [remember him] on the radio, and try n get sasha etc on tape. Started buyin vinyl when i were 14, got a bit of a collection goin untill some **** nicked em and that were that so I give up buyin [which i regret!! what could of been eh?! haha!!]. After years of ravin n stuff decided to get me first set of dex in 96. Picked it up more or less straight away n had the bug good n proper, playin funky house, garage n the occasional "harder" toon! Stopped buying new stuff in 2002/3 as was getting bored with it and spendding x amount of pounds chasin the newest traks so decided to "go bak to my roots" as the trak sez, and started collecting classics from bak un the day[88-94/95]. The rest is history so they say. Past gigs include: rhythm dome gallion cooler linikers bar red [resident with gav fora good while...big thanks!!] west coast rock club toppin street parties[top of the buildind remember them] the infamous dusk till dawn party[mint!!] and tons of private gigs for mates etc.. future giggs: hightimes [resident dj] osa.comm radio[stay tooned] and who know's what.......... and a few words about hightimes..oldkool night that i co run! hightimes is run by gav v n meself,me being head of music n gav doin most of the promo work had our launch party in april with andy senior and dave charnley guesting!.....when down a storm btw!! our music policy is a little bit differnt to the other oldskool nights happing in blackpool.i try to play traks that folk aint heard before from early 88 stuff to u.s garage aswell as yer big anthemz[cant leeve them out eh?].so exspect to hear the unexpected! got our second gig happnin 27th june at liquid lounge.with the main man himself john jepson[no introduction in the civalized world[rocky2? hahah!] and the man like johnny fresh[splash f.m] droppin a ital piano set...u can get more details here http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/event.php?eid=75794417055&ref=ts HIGHTIMES!!!!....NO CHEEZE...PLENTY OF BISCUITS!!!!!!!! ; early sasha.stu allen.welly.dick johnson.grahem park.matt bell and any other dj that made me smile
